Beekeeping Experience with Afternoon Tea
Join us for a hands-on introduction to beekeeping in the beautiful surroundings of Kenward Place. Whether you're curious about beekeeping or considering starting your own hive, this immersive experience will give you the confidence and knowledge to begin.
What to Expect:
10:00 AM – Start with tea, coffee, and a pastry
10:30 AM – Introductory talk & close-up look at an educational hive
11:30 AM – Visit the apiary & assist with real beekeeping tasks (inspections, treatments, re-queening, honey collection)
12:15 PM – Learn about essential equipment, hive setup & the pros/cons of beekeeping
1:15 PM – Enjoy Afternoon Tea at our café & explore our scenic woodland walk
All equipment & bee suits provided. Afternoon Tea will be served in our Café.
No prior experience needed—just enthusiasm!

Price: £65 per person (available April – August)
The Beekeeping experience is suitable from the age 10 and above.
Please refrain from booking this beekeeping experience if you are allergic to bee stings.
