WHY IT MATTERS

All proceeds raised by Kenward Place goes towards the work of our charity Kenward Trust, founded in 1968. Kenward Trust saves lives every day from alcohol and drugs, homelessness and crime.

Transforming those in recovery, creating a new future away from their addictions. Work spans from sessions in schools delivering early education and intervention programmes called Think Differently, through to residential rehab and providing Resettlement for homeless to continue their journey of recovery.

Our History

Kenward Trust was formed in 1968 by Ray and Violet Sinden, who opened their home to some homeless individuals from London, who wanted to stay in recovery from addiction but had no shelter. Their farm quickly became overcrowded so they sold up and bought Kenward House, the manor in which Kenward Place is now located. Since that day Kenward Trust has helped to transform the lives of over 10,000 individuals with addiction issues, and given them a chance to create a new future for themselves in the community.
